Anyone remember a movie/series where people/family are standing in front of a house(taking family photo i think, not sure) and behind them in the window/curtains there is a pair of red eyes looking out. Those red eyes have haunted me all my life. I'm 40 plus now, thanks in advance.

Thanks for fast response The Reaper, but sadly I clearly remember it NOT being Amityville Horror. I can't remember if the eyes in the window were seen during the photo being taken or afterwards someone seeing the eyes in the photo. I also remember someone being chased by something in what seems like an over grown flower garden. The chase seems like it goes on forever like as if there's no end to the garden. I can remember clearly people standing outside in front of a house and those eyes are behind in the window and them being unaware.

I am in the same boat you are. I saw that movie scene as a kid and it stuck with me. The way I remember it the photo was taken and they were looking at it later and noticed the glowing eyes and the camera zoomed in on them and spooky music came up at the same time- then an immediate cut to a closeup of a telephone ringing- to make you jump I guess. It seems to me it was a TV movie. The production style seemed to be early '70s.

I'm looking for the name of the same movie. I seem to remember the mom making wind chimes and the husband being the director of commercials.

Just read 40+ and laughed. I'm 63 and trying to find out the name of that darn movie. I think 1970's sounds right. I thought it was super scary and I'm surprised it seems to have disappeared. I did see it on tv but I'm pretty sure it was a regular not made for tv movie.

The movie everyone here is describing is something evil, and you can watch it on YouTube, but I remember watching a movie as a kid where a girl/woman gets possessed maybe? The only thing I remember about the movie is that she had blood red eyes and you couldn't see any whites or pupils or anything, just blood red eyes. Freaked me the hell out, and I never forgot that image. Just wish I knew what the hell the movie was...

Yes I do. I remember those eyes at the end of the movie and also some strange happenings in their garage or barn. I don't remember the name of the movie. But those eyes.

I'm sure you're talking about the same movie (or episode) I'm going crazy trying to find, but as I recall, the eyes were white or maybe a pale yellow. They were shapes that looked like eyes. It's how they ended it, with the family outdoors, waving bye to someone, unaware the eyes were in the window.

During the movie, every time something real scary was going to happen, you'd see those eyes, either in a mirror, a painting, or window.

I could have sworn it was an episode of "Ghost Story" or "Circle of Fear", but I've thoroughly checked out those episodes and couldn't find it.

That's the movie I remember. They are filming a TV commercial in front of a small cabin or playhouse on the property, and the director complains that the actress does not sound the way he wants, so they will have to dub her voice in. We, the audience, can see the red eyes in the window, but the people in the film shoot can't see them. I thought it was an evil child hiding in the playhouse, watching the film shoot.

No, but as far as I can remember my age at the time, I'm guessing early to mid-70s.

I'm looking for the same movie. It came out before 1973....It could have been the late 60s or really 70s...If I had to guess I world say it was 1979 or 1971...There was a pentagram on the house...I believe there was a scene where someone swung a dead chicken around. I believe the town's people were evil...There also was someone in the film who had starts our spurs on his boots...Does anyone remember the name? It wasn't Black Noon...But I think it had Black in the title...It wasn't Something Evil either.
