I recently rented out a horror film from Blockbuster called Seed. Usually before watching a film I read about it on IMDB or at least read the back cover. So imagine my shock when the opening sequence was REAL footage of some animals being tortured to death for their fur coats!!
As well as the usual full on violence and gore, this film also contains apparently the longest sequence of non-stop graphic violence that has passed through BBFC uncut which wasn't particular pleasant.
So yer that's my 'sickening' film. What's yours??
I've never even heard of that film...
Don't no whether I should avoid this movie or watch for the shock value.
One of my "sickening Films" is FEED!
Coincidentally the title rhymes with your choice... lol
FEED is a disgusting piece of cinema.
Slaughtered Vomit Dolls is **** gross as well.
I heard you....
Just wanted to give you "the heads up"...a vidoe is being made of the next six months on this earth, all around the globe of what is to come when we go into global nuclear war...after the middle east is struck with nuclear warheads around the river euphrates....watch for that to come...and it will. You heard it here first!
I totally think that August Underground Mordum is a really sick flick. That and Eraserhead!
FEED was really gross!
I was completely disgusted
asian movie dumplings is pretty sick
got a very strong stomache but just the idea of it made me uneasy
I went to a screening last year at the DT Independent theater in LA, for the screening of MUTILATION MILE. Well, no question it was a explotation film, and I have been a fan of hard-core **** for a minute, but this movie is sooo **** violent (there is a ***** scene in this film that I kid-you-not, I have never in my adult life seen anything like this in a movie). And these two actors were **** awesome that played brothers in the film, that absolutely killed everybody. And I guess it's about some true **** that happened aboout a big drug deal gone wrong. So, what brought me to this topic, was I was looking at the recent issue of Fangoria, and sure enough, the film is getting released this month. I've checked out the info online, and there is quite a buzz. So, the info I got was off of IMDB. I found a photo from another article online... I'll attach it.
how about HUMAN CENTIPEDE
The Human Centipede is sick!! Also The Antichrist and Mum and Dad are quite sickening too
I have watched two of the three you listed Kristie. I agree with The Human Centipede, but I am curious to know what you found so sickening about Mum & Dad?
The sequel to Human Centipede should be very interesting.
We studied Mum and Dad for the 'shocking cinema' module in my Film Studies A-level. I think it's just the fact that it's so realistic as a British horror and shares some similarities to the Fred and Rose West murders. There are certain scenes that spring to mind in terms of blood and gore (not wanting to ruin it for those that haven't seen it) and the way they play on and subvert the mum and dad stereotypes... but it is definitely worth a watch!
dont know what hannibal holocaustt wasnt sickest ive seen but dont know where to rate that movie its same as you sayd but check out hannibal holocaust
othervise the human centerpede was also pretty **** lol waiting for that sequel haha
Mine's already been mentioned a couple of times Human Centipede. There's a couple of hours out of my life that I'll never get back!! Also, I have to say "Dead Alive". That's probably one of the goriest movies I've ever seen (and one of the funniest ).
The sickest I've ever seen is "A Serbian Film". Not a true horror but most definitely a horror to watch. Hands down the sickest most gut wrenching film I've ever seen. This makes human centipede look like a disney film. Nothing I've seen is anywhere near a close second.
A few to add: Salo: 120 Days of Sodom and the Guinea Pig series.
I've read about "A Serbian Film" and refuse to watch it. Blood and gore is one thing, but that kind of material I have no interest in.
yeah I kinda regret watching it, I didn't actually know what it was about, a mate just said, and I quote "don't watch it, please don't watch it"
HAHA! Thus, guaranteeing you watching it! That's how it was for me when I watched the Human Centipede!
Me too. A friend gave me a copy of Human Centipede then told me not to watch it cuz it was too sick and disturbing. God love her, she's not the brightest star in the sky. If you don't want me to see, then...why give me a copy? Lol!!
I've seen Cannibal Holocaust - it's probably topped all of the horror movies I've seen.
It's worse than The Human Centipede in my opinion - by far.
It has seven animal killings, which are all real.
It has a few rape scenes - three infact, if you include the scene where a tribal man rapes a girl with a stone.
It basically shows someone just being teared apart in general - I can't even describe it.
This film makes Saw look like cuts and bruises. Despite it's hardcore gore, it actually leaves you asking, "well, who are the bad guys in this?". This is because the westerners in the story that are visiting Southern America just about do as bad things as the tribal people do honestly. It's fairly interesting in that way, and also shows how films such as The Blair Witch Project (one of my favorite horror films of all time), Paranormal Activity and Cloverfield were influenced, with the idea of the film being made with home camera.
Disturbing as ****.
My ex used to bring home a series of films called "Faces of Death", which touted actual scenes of injury and death. Haunts me to this day. I have no urge to see real people REALLY suffer. Ugh. Still gives me chills.
Ok, so I got Cannibal Holocaust from Netflix today and I don't understand what the fuss is about The animal killings were def. disturbing (me being the HUGE animal lover that I am), but I actually found the rest to be rather boring. I kept asking myself, "Is it over yet?". I don't know; maybe I just don't get disturbed/grossed out as easy as most.
@zombiedawn ~ I've seen the whold "Faces of Death" series and is it bad that the parts with animals getting killed bothered me a 1,000 times more than the people?
Faces of Death IS and WAS fake...
10% may actually be real but there were actors, writers and directors.
If ya watched it today, you could easily see why and how.
Real, fake, or just imagined, I can't handle watching animals getting killed. You should see me watching Braveheart or something like that. Lol! I'm sitting there screaming at the tv "Don't kill the horses! Don't kill the horses!". And, you know, they never listen to me *sigh*
Cannibal holocaust, traces of death series, cat 3 films in general the one where the cop eats the mango dropped in ***** made me gag cant remember the title
ONE OF THE SICKEST THINGS IN A HORROR MOVIE HAS TO BE,
SAMANTHA EGGAR GIVING BIRTH TO A MUTANT BABY PEELING THE MEMBRANE WITH HER TEETH AND LICKING OFF THE BLOOD. PRETTY SICK.
Human centipede was sh*t in my opinion, I have seen far worse a dozen times over. A serbian film however is definately a top contender, never has my lip curled so much when watching a film. one hell of a sick film.
Human centipede 2 is far more savage, graphic and disgusting than the 1st, almost like it was made by different people.
Another good one is called The Collector.
Maybe not the sickest horror movie out there, but Hostel 2 was pretty disturbing to me.
Especially one scene inside a torture chamber where a woman sits in a bathtub beneath her victim who she slices with a scythe to bathe in blood, that scene made me sick...
I think director Eli Roth need some serious help
