A lot of people have great Ideas for movies but have no idea about how one goes about getting it from in their head to on the screen. I have compiled a list of links and sites that can help you take your first steps towards realizing your idea.
- http://www.moviepitch.com/an interesting site about how to acctualy pitch you idea, and more importantly making sure your idea is worth pitching.
- http://www.screenwritersvault.com/creating/creatingintro.asp This is a bit more advanced - if you are sure you have a great idea and are ready for the actual pitch - this site has a lot of information and services to offer.
- http://www.ehow.com/how_2045893_pitch-movie.html good advice on presentation timing and a bunch of other things that seem not very important but are, in fact crucial.
- http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/29/mrpitch.html another good artical about selling your Idea and recognizing a good one.
There are of course a multitude of articles on this subject, and like every thing else in life - it all boils down to getting a chance to sell (witch you get by selling) and selling your little heart out. Practice practice practice.
If your idea is good and your pitch is better - theres no stopping you!
