Just watched this on DVD.

I wonder why the dubbing was so bad? It was shot in English, wasn't it?

And that ending...I don't know what would possess someone to do an ending like that.

Still, I'd much rather watch a bad horror movie, than bad movies in other genres, such as an unfunny comedy, or a boring drama.

I thought this was interesting. Only fourteen of the IMDb's Top Ranking 250 Movies are horror movies, while forty-two of the IMDb's 100 Worst Ranking Movies are horror movies.

I remember seeing this one when it came out and my friends would never forgive me for picking it. Just a terrible movie.

the ending makes about as much sense as the beginning and middle.

Like most Italian movies of the time, it was shot in whatever languages the actors happened to speak (in this case, mostly English), and dubbed after the fact. Often multiple languages were spoken during filming. Few Italian films until recently had live sound on the set.

You know, it wasn't THAT long ago that I watched 'Pieces', but I can't even remember the ending. That's how much of an impact it had on me!

AND, it's not even a plain old regular corpse. It's a poorly sewn-together corpse. Sigh. Just when he had his police career all ready to go....

Ah yes...the ending. I remember now. It was rather silly though.
