My advice: Watch every horror movie ever made. And drink at least eight tall glasses of water every day.

never heard of it.

A magnificent example of what determination and imagination can accomplish. It is great fun, if not particularly frightening. It is more a ride than a horror movie.

Haven't seen it but really want to.

Underated film. It has its flaws but so much of it works I can't imagine anyone claiming it isn't a good movie. Creepy, suspenseful, atmospheric, interesting story and mystery... it's a solid movie by any measure. Had Halloween not preceeded it it would be considered a classic.

Almost bought that on a dvd with Masque. Is it really worth it? I love Masque.

Don't remember it.

Very stylish, very moody, and yet it is also very flawed. It has so many great scenes and performances though. It also creates an interestingly vague concept of modern vampirism. It must be seen.

I own the dvd and oddly find the film to be somewhat oppresive. It's hard to explain, but I don't enjoy watching it even though I admire so much about it.

Great movie. It is wonderfully bizarre but maintains its narrative. I love how it breaks the rules, gutsy little movie. It is also scary without trying to wink at the audience. I think Nightmare on Elm Street might have been influenced by this one.

It's a Midnight Movie. It's $10 for the 2 movies. Masque alone is worth $10, so you shouldn't even have to ask

Thanks, I saw that dvd at a local Best Buys but it was priced at $23, that is why I balked. Next visit I will ask them to verify the price on it's label, it sounds like the price was wrong.

I also saw a copy of Dracula vs Frankenstein priced at almost $30! I wanted it but would never pay more than $10 for it.

If you like no-budget cheapness, you might like it. I didn't care for it.

Is that like The Evil Dead? If so, don't hesitate to get it.

Highly recommended.

Highly recommended.

Is that like Near Dark? If so, highly recommended.

There's nothing like the mano-a-mano feeling of scratching a whale's ballsack, you know.
