available on home video in any format? Bootleg? I've always wanted to see it. And yes, I know it's supposed to be terrible. As a kid I had a magazine which was the whole movie in stills and it looked quite bloody for its time.

It was released officially on video twice.

First from Admit One out of Canada - uncut version.

Later, Prism released it, but accidentally used a cut tv print missing all the gore.

The Admit One version is much harder to find, of course.

I have the Admit One. Picked it up at Kims Video a few years ago. It's very faded looking but does appear to be uncut. Bootlegger Incredibly Strange Filmworks have a better looking version out, but beware it's the cut tv print. If you wanna check it out anyway try www.incrediblystrangefilmworks.com . I haven't been there in quite a while so I can't promise that url will work, but the company was still in business as of last October at least.

I seem to recall seeing this one uncut a few times on tv as well, probably late at night.

HOPB autuer Del Tenney is still alive and well btw, or at least alive. He's listed as some sort of benefactor and/or board member for Stamford Center For The Performing Arts here in town. Part of the fun of Tenney's stuff for me has always been that it was filmed locally at some pretty familiar looking locations. I remember the local high school doing a benefit or student-activity showing of CURSE OF THE LIVING CORPSE back in the 70s. I was one of the very few that showed up.

I recall being totally creeped out by a B&W still from this movie back in '64, when I was 4. It appeared in my local newspaper, and was of the lady's severed head on a plate. Newspapers were much more liberal with the gore photos back then, it seemed. Never saw the actual movie, though.
