heard so many good things about it i decided to rent it this fine sunday afternoon... what a bloody good film...for a 15 rating theres plenty of gore and i loved the humour in it! just a question for the locals of scotland though....is there realy anywhere up there thats at least 4 hours from the nearest town...?

funny bit is -i'm sure in an interview the director said they actually filmed the 'out in the wilds' bits in......... LUXEMBOURG!

It was filled with the kind of tired action movie cliches that you British usually complain about when they're in American productions. Possibly you were willing to overlook that just because it *is* an English movie. I did say the werewolves were cool. Unfortunately, the movie has little else to distinguish it from a hundred other direct-to-video Sci-Fi Channel fodder

I don't really rate other British movies (none of which spring to mind), but this one has razor sharp dialogue, good action, good location & shots, good fx, nice atmosphere & a good story. Perhaps you didn't understand the dialogue and/or humour?

Ah. The Sci Fi version. Right. So that's the version you've seen? BWAAAAAA HAAAAA HAAAAA!!! Dude, a werewolf could of got a hold of *that* print and ripped it to pieces for the amount of cuts that were made. I bought the SILVER and that's the version they sent me. It's not even close. And just for the record, it had a full cinema release here. So, take your Sci-Fi channel & shove it. 'Till you've seen the full uncut version & understand the Geordie language, please don't comment.
