Well I'm doing a little PR work for Black Death Books, and my publisher wanted me to mention our anthology for those among you with a yen to write something scary and see it in print. It's all pretty straightforward. The anthology will be entitled _The Blackest Death Volume I_ and will feature authors hailing from all corners of the horror field, some previously published and some brand new.
The book will be published in hardcover and be available from all online book dealers as well as some brick and mortar bookstores. This is not poetry.com and the authors are never asked to contribute anything but their story to the anthology. The book is beginning to fill up, but its publication date is TBA, depending on how long it takes us to reach our maximum capacity for the volume. Unpublished authors are welcome to submit. Short stories under 10,000 words are preferred but novellas will not be discarded if done well. Writers wanting to submit novellas are encouraged to query Black Death before doing so. Novelists need to read the submission guidelines available at the Black Death site if they want to submit a longer work.
The anthology won't make you rich, but you will get exposure, since Black Death Books are available through all major bookselling venues both here as well as overseas. More information on submitting is available at

with any questions you have.
